Blogette: Funny potato chips

I don't know why it amuses me to see the different flavors of Lay's potato chips sold in other countries, but it does. I found these in a tourist shop in Guadelupe this weekend:

This afternoon, I ran across a really unusual flavor at El Corte Ingles, the local supermarket (I had to buy these):

And look at the flavor I stumbled across two years ago when we were in Cappadocia, Turkey!

That's a pretty cool potato chip collection. Are we going to build a new shelf at home to display them?

Walkers, one of the big chip brands here (crisp brand if I want to say it in English), has a contest asking the public to pick its favorite flavor out of about half a dozen. One flavor is Builder's Breakfast, which I assume is bacon and fried egg or something along those lines. But the real doozy is Cajun Squirrel!! Can you imagine? I haven't the guts to try either of 'em.

I didn't know you were collecting potato chips now ... what an interesting hobby! I'll keep my eyes peeled for any unusual flavors over here. Re Deanne's comment ... cajun squirrel??? YUK!
I need to go dole out pills for the week, so I have to go, but I had to read your blogs before I got tied up. I am thankful for blogs, email and Skype!!! It was fun talking with you today. Watch for my pictures on FB... love, mom
